This product is similar to our Murky Mermaid Shampoo bar but has a different scent, which is often more popular with men!

Contains carragheen seaweed, a powerful anti oxidant which increases hydration and works as a thickening and conditioning agent for the hair. Creates a wonderfully creamy shampoo lather. Perfect also for all-over body use, helping to soften and sooth dry or chapped skin, including eczema and psoriasis.

This product also contains:

Patchouli oil is can help to reduce the cosmetic appearance of dandruff which can lead to your hair looking shinier.
Geranium oil which has been used for decades to promote natural hair growth.

Wet your hair in the shower, rub the bar over your hair then lather with your fingertips and rinse. You don’t need to repeat the process, but you might – everyone is different! To finish, some people will use a simple acidic rinse to restore the pH of their hair afterwards. This is really easy – simply add 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to a 1litre jug of water and pour over your head.

We collect the carragheen (Chondrus crispus) seaweed from the intertidal rocks along the Pembrokeshire coast.

This shampoo bar contains only natural ingredients, including vegetable oils, vegetable butters, essential oils and other ingredients especially beneficial to the hair and scalp. It will not strip away the natural oils in your hair but it might take a little time before your hair is rid of the chemicals and residues from your previous hair products. Shampoos and conditioners with silicones and other plastics in them leave a coating on the hair that will need to be removed before the natural shampoo soap bar will work. Depending on what you’ve been washing your hair with, you may need to go through an ‘adjustment’ period, so don’t give up after a week.
